Lucian Freud is one of my most favorite painters. His work is nothing less than amazing, and captures the attention of the viewer and holds them in a silent moment filled with emotion and depth. I just could not resist posting some of his paintings here. If you are unfamiliar with Freud then it's time to discover one of the best painters of our time.
